Police seizes woman drug supplier’s properties in Jammu

Jammu police pasted notice on the property of woman drug supplier in Rajiv Nagar.

The J&K police on Sunday attached two houses belonging to a woman drug supplier under sections 68 E, F of the NDPS act in Rajiv Nagar area of Jammu city.

The police seized the property of drug supplier acquired illegal through drug trade and she is identified as Reena alias Rupa wife of Bobby resident of Rajiv Nagar of Jammu city.

After attaching the woman drug dealer’s properties, a police official said, “During our investigation some thing came up and our investigating officers seized these properties under the law which empowers us. The property earned illegally is worth more than 1 crore. I have said many times through the medium of media that we have identified many  people and hotspots. We request people to stay away from drugs”. He added,” Parents should try to keep their children away from drugs  and people should also come forward to combat it. We have different strategies to deal with drug traders, first is to arrest and  punish them and second to aware people through nukkad dramas on drug abuse, which was recently staged by our department. Only some people are involved in drug trading and people should help us in fighting this war”.

Reacting to the viral video of drug trade recently in Rajiv Nagar, he said, “Police cannot be present at all times everywhere, if that person would have informed police officials first who made that video viral it would have helped us in nabbing the accused. We all have to come forward as this not only our war as people also have to fight it”, he asserted.
