Continuing its efforts against drug peddling, Handwara Police arrested one peddler and recovered narcotics in Magam area.
Today on May 11, 2023, a police party of Police Post Magam, while on naka duty at Khanpora crossing, apprehended one person who had attempted to avoid the police party in a suspicious manner.
On search, around 80 grams of Charas like substance was recovered from his possession. The person has been identified as Bilal Ahmad Dar S/o Gh Hassan R/o New Colony Jagerpora.
In relation to this, FIR No.104/2023 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act registered in PS Handwara and investigation initiated.
