Police nabs drug peddler in Jammu city

Jammu: Jammu police on Saturday has nabbed a drug peddler from Sidhra area of Jammu city.
According to the report, a police team of Sidhra police station of Jammu city was on patrol duty at Tawi bridge in Sidhra then a man appeared at the scene who started fleeing on seeing the police naka. After which the policemen ran after him and caught hold of him. The man was coming from Nagrota to Narwal and was going to Jammu city via Sidhra.
During checking of the man the police recovered 50grams of heroin from his possession.
The arrest was made by PSI Arun Kumar of Sidhra Police post and his team.
The drug peddler has been identified as Bagh Hussain s/o Tej Ali r/o Mukerian of Punjab state.
A case FIR NO. 508/2023 u/s 8,21, 22 of NDPS act of the IPC at Police station Nagrota.
