Jammu and Kashmir Police have located a woman missing hailing from Rajouri in Tulbagh Pampore.
The Police in a statement issued to media said that on 09.11.2023, one Zaffar Iqbal visited PS Manjakote and reported that his wife namely Tasleem Akhtar, wife of Zaffar Iqbal, wife of Saroola, Manjakote is missing since 08.11.23 and accordingly a missing report was lodged at PS Manjakote Vide DD Extract No.18 of Dated 09.11.2023.
“Upon receipt of the instant missing report, the Police team of PS Manjakote led by SHO PS Manjakote, Inspector Abrar Khan assisted by other officials of PS Manjakote, made strenuous efforts to trace the missing woman”, reads the statement.
“Notably after obtaining technical assistance from Electronic Surveillance Unit Rajouri, the missing woman was traced from the Tulbagh area of Pampore, District Pulwama within 48 hours.”
“The missing woman has been handed over to her legal heirs after completing all connected legal formalities”, reads the statement.
The locals and the family members of the missing lady have in the meantime appreciated the swift role of police regarding the recovery of woman.
