In an on-going effort to eradicate the drug menace, Police in Budgam have booked two notorious drug peddlers namely Adil Manzoor Paul @Zaffar & Manzoor Ahmad Baig under the provisions of Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic substances Act, 1988 (PIT NDPS Act).
The investigations revealed their involvement in an extensive network of drug trafficking that targeted vulnerable sections of society, especially the youth. This process is a testament to the relentless pursuit of justice by the J&K Police, as part of its mission to ensure the safety and well-being of the youth. These detentions are a step forward in dismantling the networks responsible for spreading this menace.
