In a heartwarming and inspirational meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, welcomed 16-year-old archer Sheetal Devi from the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir at his official residence today. The meeting comes in recognition of her exceptional achievement at the recently concluded Para Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China.

Sheetal Devi, who was born without arms, has defied all odds to become the World’s First Armless Female Champion Archer. She exhibited unparalleled determination, skill, and sheer dedication to secure multiple gold medals at the prestigious Para Asian Games, making her a source of pride and inspiration for the entire nation.

Prime Minister Modi congratulated Sheetal Devi on her outstanding accomplishments and lauded her as a symbol of resilience and grit. During the meeting, he commended her for not letting any challenge deter her pursuit of excellence in archery.
