PM Modi interacts with beneficiaries of govts schemes at Jammu MA stadium

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday interacted with beneficiaries of various government schemes as part of the ‘Viksit Bharat Viksit Jammu’ programme in Jammu.

PM was seen talking to local people who are beneficiaries of ‘Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, during the ‘Viksit Bharat Viksit Jammu’ programme in Jammu at Maulana Azad stadium in Jammu.

PM Modi interacted with a woman from J&K’s Kishtwar district, Veena, and asked her about the changes brought by the govt provided schemes in her life. She congratulated PM Modi over Ram Temple inauguration and described the benefits that came in her life through the aid of government schemes.

Later, PM Modi talked with Lal Mohammad from Poonch, a beneficiary of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, during the ‘Viksit Bharat Viksit Jammu’ programme in Jammu. “I’m Lal Mohammad and belong to Gujjar community and we are a family of six. My grandfathers were nomads and we used to live in a mud house along the LoC in Poonch, where we have seen various problems during militancy and here shelling happens everyday from across the border.

“I’m a small farmer and used to work as a labourer also and with the aid of ‘Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana’ we got 1,30000,  made a solid house and are living happily”, Mr Lal told PM Modi through a video conference.
