Perpetrators Behind Rajouri Militant Attack Will Pay Heavy Price: J&K LG Manoj Sinha

Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday said the perpetrators responsible for the recent militant attack on a village in Rajouri district will have to pay a heavy price for their heinous action.

Addressing the people of the Union Territory in his monthly radio programme ‘Awaam Ki Awaaz’, the Lt Governor said the whole nation stands united in the fight against terrorism.

Seven people belonging to a particular community were kill and 14 others injure in a twin strike by militants at Dhangri village of Rajouri on January 1 and 2.

Paying tributes to civilians who lost their lives in the militant attack, Sinha said concrete measures are being ensure families of martyrs live a life of dignity.

“Perpetrators will have to pay a heavy price for their heinous action. The whole nation stands united in the fight against militant,” he said.

He said, “We have entered a New Year united in step and united in resolve. We have triumphed over several challenges and achieved new milestones in several sectors of the economy in 2022.
