Sonawari, April 4: The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) organized a special welcome meet to honour senior leader and former MLC Yasir Reshi. The event, attended by senior PDP leaders from Bandipora district, including Tahir Qadri, Jahangeer Dar and Mohammad Abdullah marked Yasir Reshi’s formal reception into the party.

During the gathering, PDP leaders emphasized that Reshi’s presence has strengthened the party in Sonawari. They expressed confidence that PDP will reclaim its past dominance in the constituency, stating that his leadership and experience will play a crucial role in the party’s revival.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from party workers, reflecting renewed energy within PDP ranks. Leaders highlighted that with Reshi’s return, the party is now better positioned to reassert its influence in the region.
