Parents protest against dual education policy at R.P. School

A group of parents from R.P. School Nagbal here in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district Thursday staged a protest against the school’s controversial implementation of a dual education policy, expressing concerns about its potential impact on students.

The policy reportedly divides students into two distinct learning streams, potentially based on NCERT and Cambridge subject methods. Parents argue that this division could create disparities in access to quality education and raise questions about fairness and inclusivity within the school.

Protesters voiced apprehensions over the policy’s long-term effects on their children’s education, emphasizing the need for a unified approach that benefits all students equally. They called for transparency from the school administration regarding the policy’s purpose and implementation.

The protesting parents urged the school authorities to reconsider or revise the policy.
