Parents of students at Oasis School, Gogji Bagh, have raised concerns over the soaring costs of school books, calling the situation “outrageous.” Abdul Rashid, a parent whose child is in Upper Kindergarten (UKG), expressed his frustration, highlighting the heavy financial burden.
While talking to media one of the parent said that “I paid nearly Rs 5,500 for the book set of my UKG kid. This is an outrageous amount for books meant for such young children,” he shared with Buland Awaaz News.
Many parents echoed similar grievances, questioning the rationale behind such exorbitant prices for educational materials for young students. They called on the school authorities to address the issue and provide a more reasonable pricing structure for the benefit of the student community.
Efforts to contact the school administration for their comments on the matter remained unfulfilled at the time of reporting.
