Srinagar, Aug 23,: The Kashmir Power Development Corporation Limited has penalized Pampori & Sons, a commercial entity located in Batamaloo near the F&ES Headquarters, for tampering with their single-phase energy meter.
“Pampori & Sons, a commercial entity with Consumer ID: 5060, located at Batmaloo, ESD Karan Nagar, has been penalized for tampering with their single-phase energy meter,” KPDCL said in a post on ‘X’
“The tampered meter has been confiscated, and action is being taken under the Electricity Act. Consumers are strongly advised against such illegal practices, as the law will be enforced accordingly. For further details, contact Er. Ajaz Runga, Head CIS,” the post added.
