Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar yesterday said that if a no-confidence motion is moved by the Opposition, they would also have to listen to the contributions of the government.

The Budget session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha is set to begin starting from February 20. Talking to mediapersons, Khattar said that he had read the Opposition’s statement regarding brining a no-trust vote and they had brought such a motion earlier as well.

The Chief Minister said that if the Opposition brings a no-confidence motion, they would also be compelled to hear about the work “we have done”. He added that after hearing about “our developmental works”, some of the Opposition leaders might want to change their stance.

Khattar said Prime Minister Narendra Modi would lay the foundation stone of Rewari AIIMS on February 16. He would also address the gathering and lay the foundation stone of other projects. Modi would also address a gathering under the theme of ‘Viksit Bharat, Viksit Haryana’. The Prime Minister’s address would be planned in such a way that residents could virtually listen to it. The Chief Minister said preparations were underway for the Lok Sabha elections.
