Advisor Umang Narula launched the online portal for the submission of Annual Property Returns under the Personal Information System (PIS) for employees of UT Ladakh.
He emphasized that the filing of Property Returns is an essential requirement for obtaining vigilance clearance for the officials.
General Administration Department (GAD) Ladakh, in collaboration with National Informatics Centre, Leh has developed the portal.
Commissioner Secretary Ajeet Sahu apprised the Advisor that nine major and 16 minor modules have been developed under this system, which will be rolled out sequentially. The major modules included are payroll management, attendance, exit/retirement management, appointment management, promotion management, training management, etc.
Advisor Narula stated that this development must be promoted by all means and on all platforms viz the websites of Deputy Commissioner Leh (https://leh.nic.in/), Deputy Commissioner Kargil (https://kargil.nic.in/) and the Administration of UT of Ladakh website (https://ladakh.nic.in/) so that all employees register themselves and provide their details.
Director NIC, Punchok Paldan through a presentation apprised Advisor Narula of the functionalities of the portal.

Principal Secretary Dr. Pawan Kotwal, Secretary K. Mehbood Ali Khan, Secretary Yatindra Maralkar, Deputy Commissioner Leh and Kargil, Director Handloom Lakshya Singhal and other officials of GAD and NIC were present.
