Police team of Police Station Chenani have foiled one bovine smuggling attempt in which 06 bovines were rescued from vehicle bearing registration number No. JK14H-4734 from Noti (area on Pattangarh to Chenani road) of Chenani. The driver of the vehicle fled away from the spot. All the 06 bovines were rescued and vehicle seized.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 135/2024 U/S 223/ BNS 11 PCA Act stands registered in Police Station Chenani.
Further investigation of the case is in progress.
