Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has said that hundred percent transparency will be made possible in the recruitment process of various posts. Following the recent protest by the candidates and subsequent postponement of the scheduled examinations by the Services Selection Board for the time being, the LG has assured the candidates that the recruitment examinations will be held very soon.

However, he said that these exams will be conducted only after the Services Selection Board is fully satisfied.

He clarified that transparency in the recruitment process is the responsibility of the government and the government assures the candidates that the entire recruitment process will be conducted in a transparent manner. He said that the recruitment will be based on merit and transparency will be the top priority of the government.

It should be noted that the Services Selection Board had assigned the responsibility of conducting the recruitment exams from 16th March to Aptech Recruiting Agency, which was opposed by the candidates in the entire UT and protested and after that the Services Selection Board had taken it from 16th March. All recruitment exams have been postponed for the time being.
