The suspension order by Bhupinder Kumar, Secretary to the government, issued on August 8, 2024, states, “Pending inquiry into the conduct, Er. Assad Ullah Najar, I/c Executive Engineer, R&B Division Bandipora is hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect.” During the suspension period, Najar will be attached to the office of the Chief Engineer, PW(R&B) Pir Panjal. The order further mentions, “Er Mohammad Hussain Shah, I/C Executive Engineer PMGSY Bandipora shall look after the charge of R&B Division Bandipora in addition to his own duties till further orders.”
