The Nowabad police on Friday morning arrested a drug trafficker from Jammu’s Tawi bridge.
According to the report, a team of Canal road police station who was performing patrol duty at fourth Tawi bridge near Bhagwati Nagar in Jammu city intercepted a man, but when the cops frisked him they found 100 gram of Heroin from him.
The nabbed drug dealer has been identified as Sagar Sharma s/o Vijay Kumar Sharma resident of village Rajal tehsil Nowshera of Rajouri district.
A case FIR NO. 36/2024 u/s 8/21/22 of the NDPS act at Nowabad police station and further proceedings are under way.
