Under Sanjeevani operation of Jammu and Kashmir police to eradicate the drug menace from the society a drug was apprehended by Pouni Chak police yesterday.
A police team of Police post Pouni Chak headed by PSI Vijay kumar under the guidance of SHO PS Domana Inspector Susheel Choudhury and supervision of SDPO Domana Dysp Muddasar Hussain apprehended the notorious drug peddler namely Zahid Mohd S/O Sher Ali R/O Gandu Chak Phallian mandal tehsil Mandal district Jammu and recovered about 8-10 grams of Heroin like substance from his possession at Pata chungi Bohri Chowk.
The mentioned drug supplier came to deliver the said NDPS material at the same spot where he was arrested.
In this regard FIR is registered at Police station Domana under relevant section of law and investigation of the case set into motion.
