No Significant Weather Activity in J&K Until September 23: MeT Department

The Meteorological Department in Srinagar has forecasted no major weather activity in Jammu and Kashmir until September 23, while also predicting occasional light showers in isolated areas. According to a MeT official, cloudy weather with brief spells of rain or thunderstorms is expected at scattered locations today.

From September 15 to 20, the region is likely to experience mostly dry conditions, with only light rain or showers at isolated places. The outlook for the subsequent three days suggests similar dry weather, with brief rain or thunderstorms possible in isolated areas.

While no significant weather events are expected, the MeT Department has issued an advisory warning of potential thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds in some parts of J&K during this period.
