No End to Tragedies in Doda: Two killed, one hurt in accident

Jammu: The road tragedies in Doda district of Jammu keep on increasing every other day even after traffic police recent efforts to maintain strict vigil and aware people about road safety measures in the wake of Assar mishap didn’t achieved the desired result because two persons were killed and another suffered wounds in a road mishap in Doda district of Jammu this morning.
As per report, the mishap happened when a load carrier (JK06B1533) fell into a deep gorge in the Tantna-Gundna area of Doda, resulting in death of two persons, four animals while grievous wounds to another man.
After the mishap, all the victims were rushed to GMC, Doda, where two injured persons succumbed to their wounds while another is undergoing treatment.
The injured driver is identified as Aqib Gulzar (36) s/o Khushi Mohd r/o Pranoo, Bhalla of Doda while the deceased are identified as Meer Ali s/o Noor Mai r/o Loren, Doda and Zafarullah s/o Talib Hussain r/o Chandi, Bhaderwah.
Police have taken cognizance of this road accident.
On 15 November, a grisly road mishap took place in Assar area of Doda in which 39 people lost their lives and 17 sustained serious injuries when an overloaded bus lost control and fell in a gorge.
