No corruption in liquor policy, PM doesn’t want good work done: Kejriwal after Sisodia’s arrest

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, in a press conference, said former ministers of his Cabinet, Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain, were put behind bars to stop the good work done by the city government.

“There is no corruption in liquor policy. The prime minister doesn’t want good work to be done,” Kejriwal said, adding that the work will not stop.”Their intention is not to stop corruption but to stop the good work done in Delhi,” the Aam Aadmi Party chief said, defending his jailed ministers.

Kejriwal further said the CBI officials could not recover even Rs 10,000 from Sisodia’s residence after hours-long raids.

“If Manish Sisodia joins the BJP, won’t he be free by tomorrow?” Kejriwal said, adding that the AAP will begin a door-to-door campaign against the arrest.
