Mercury continued its free fall in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh as minimum temperatures dropped further during the last 24 hours. The Meteorological (MeT) office issued a dry weather forecast on Friday, November 25.
“Weather is expected to remain dry in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh during the next 24 hours as the night temperatures are likely to drop further.”
“Minimum temperatures in the Valley and Ladakh region remained notches below the freezing point today,” an official of the MeT department said.
Srinagar recorded minus 1.4°C, Pahalgam minus 3.6°C and Gulmarg 0°C as the minimum temperature today.
Drass town in Ladakh region registered minus 12.7°C, Kargil minus 11.3°C and Leh minus 8.8°C as the minimum temperature. Meanwhile, Jammu and Katra recorded 9.8°C, Batote 5.6°C, Banihal 5°C and Bhaderwah 3.4°C as the minimum temperature.
