Attends 29th Foundation Day of Chandi Mata Mandir, Pacca Danga
Jammu: – 01 Mar: – Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary emphasized the importance of philanthropic activities for serving humanity and providing equal opportunities in life. He spoke at the 29th Foundation Day of Chandi Mata Mandir at Pacca Danga, organized by Shri Chandi Mata Trust, Jammu. The Deputy Chief Minister stated that true devotion to God involves helping people and called for collective efforts to uplift the downtrodden and weaker sections of society by providing education, housing, and other essential resources.
He addressed the social challenges faced today, noting that society struggles with various evils and highlighted the need for teamwork to eliminate these issues. He urged people to work towards establishing a civilized and meaningful social order. He specifically appealed to youth to contribute positively and avoid misinformation and substance abuse, suggesting they follow the teachings of Saints and Seers for spiritual growth.
Additionally, the Deputy Chief Minister announced the government’s campaign aimed at making Jammu and Kashmir drug-free, noting that this concern has been raised with law enforcement to ensure a better future for the youth. Earlier, he also opened a free medical camp organized by Amar Shaheed Captain Gandharv Manhas Memorial Trust at Parade.
