Woman Suicide at Zero Bridge: On Tuesday morning, near Zero Bridge in the Rajbagh neighbourhood of Srinagar, a woman killed herself by jumping into the Jhelum River, according to officials.
An official said to the news agency that a woman from Sonwar who goes by the name of (Withheld) jumped into the Jehlum River not far from Zero Bridge Rajbagh Srinagar. Soon after the occurrence, villagers with the help of Rajbagh police were able to locate the body, which was then moved to the closest hospital for modico-legal procedures.
In the meantime, authorities have learned about the incident and are looking into it.
