The Indian Navy’s Southern Naval Command was pressed into action after local authorities failed to douse a massive fire that broke out at the Brahmapuram waste treatment plant in Kerala’s Kochi two days ago.
The worsening air quality situation in the coastal city prompted the Kochi Corporation authorities to seek the help of the Indian Navy to douse the fire.
