Desh Bhagat University hosted the National Recruitment Summit and Excellence Awards Ceremony. Representatives from DBU’s Marketing, Branding, and Admission Cell attended the event. The program was coordinated by DBU’s Vice President, Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, along with coordinators Dr. Surjeet Patheja and co-coordinator Dr. Khushboo Bansal.
Dr. Harsh Sadawarti in his address, emphasized the need for tech professionals to stay updated. He highlighted the importance of maintaining contact with alumni and ensuring successful student placements, especially considering the increasing cases of visa rejections in Canada. He mentioned that DBU and other universities in Punjab have a better opportunity to attract students for admissions. He also mentioned that DBU offers over 150 programs ranging from diplomas to Ph.D. or certification courses in various emerging fields.
During the event, Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tejinder Kaur honored approximately 70 employees from the Marketing, Branding, and Admission Cell for providing excellent services in their respective fields. Telecallers, branding, marketing, and admission cell representatives were among those honored.
Notable individuals such as OSD to the President Amit Kukreja, Director of International Students Arun Malik, Analytical Head Kapil Babbar, Admission Cell Head Gurpreet Kaur, Senior Marketing Executive Jagdeep Singh, were among those recognized. During this time, heads of all departments and colleges of the university shared detailed information about their respective departments through presentations.
