National Dance, Acting and Singing Championship 2023 held at Katra

District Development Council Chairman Reasi, Saraf Singh Nag today inaugurated the National Dance, Acting and Singing Championship 2023 here at Katra.
Performing Arts Association of J&K, run by Harman Cultural And Educational Society, Jammu has organized the National Level Competition “National Dance/ Acting/ Singing Championship 2022-23” at Spiritual Growth Centre Auditorium, Katra.
About 120 children and youth from 21 states and UTs of India including J&K participated and exhibited their talents in dance, acting and singing.
On the occasion, a number of dignitaries were present and enjoyed the beautiful performances of children and youth.
Rajnikant Thakur, National Secretary, PAAI and President, Dance Sports Association Bharat was present as Celebrity Guest alongwith Sandeep Mehra, President , Muskaan Charitable Trust was present as Special Guest along with Shiv Kumar Sharma President Kreeda Bharti JK.
The event began with lighting of the traditional lamp by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries present on the occasion.
The children presented mesmerizing performances which were entertaining and enjoyed by the guests and audience present on the occasion.
The competition was judged by a panel of qualified judges. The best performers were felicitated by Chief Guest and by other dignitaries with certificates and medals (Gold, Silver or Bronze) on the basis of their performance.
Sardar Tajinder Singh, President, Harman Cultural And Educational Society, Gurvinder Kour, General Secretary( HCES), Technical Secretary, Performing Arts Association honoured the Chief Guest and dignitaries present on the occasion.
The team of performing art unit of J&K comprising Akash Sky, District Jammu incharge, Chandan Mandal, district Kathua incharge, Vaniket Kumar, district Samba incharge, Farooq Armaan, district Bhaderwah incharge, Anil Sharma, district Udhampur incharge, Nitin Sanotra, Coordinator, Jammu, V. J, Director (VJ dance academy), Harsheen Kour and Harshleen Kour and Preeti Langeh were also present on the occasion.
The anchoring was done by renowned anchor of Jammu and Kashmir, Rajni Sharma. The audience present on the occasion encouraged the participants and enjoyed their brilliance in dance/singing/acting categories. Harman Cultural And Educational Society(regd.), Jammu has organized various events in past years and continuing with its endeavour organized the event at the premises of Spiritual Growth Centre auditorium, Shrine Board, Katra, J&K.
