The Udhampur police on Tuesday has arrested a Narco supplier and recovered heroin from him at Tikri area of J&K’s Udhampur district.
Police team from Police Post Tikri led by PSI Sahil Chib while performing vehicle checking at Lehnu-Katra road noticed the movement of one suspicious person namely Ankush Mehra @Anku S/O Late Madan Lal R/O W.No. 02 Barrian, Udhampur who was directed to stop for checking.
On frisking, 4.5 grams of heroin (chitta) like Contraband substance was recovered from his possession and the said accused was arrested on spot.
On this, a case vide FIR No. 05/2024 U/S 8/21/22/ NDPS Act stands registered in P/S Rehambal and further investigation was set into probe.
