Muslims are happy and safe in India as compared to Minorities in Pakistan.

India’s Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman showed the mirror to him, slamming the ‘negative western perception’ against India regarding the safety of minorities and mainly Muslims. Even better Muslims in India are happy and safe. India has the second largest Muslim population in the world. And this population is rapidly increasing in number.

Sitharaman said that it is said in the western media that life of Muslims is made difficult in India with the support of the state, but all this is baseless. The Finance Minister hit back and said, if this was the case, how would India have the second largest Muslim population in the world.

Muslim population is increasing rapidly in India

When asked by Peterson Institute for International Economics President Adam S. Posen about the Western media’s reporting about violence from India’s Muslim minority, Sitharaman said that, unlike Pakistan, the Muslim population in India has been increasing since independence in 1947. Increasing from This is simply because every type of Muslim is doing his business in India, their children are being given education, fellowship is being given.

There is a feeling of insecurity in the minds of Pakistani people.

Showing the mirror about Pakistan, Finance Minister Sitharaman said that the number of every minority in Pakistan is decreasing. Even in spite of declaring itself as an Islamic country, some Muslim sects are also being attacked and wiped out there. Everyone has a feeling of insecurity in the neighboring country.
