Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal recorded his statement with the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the agency’s ongoing investigation into alleged irregularities in awarding of contracts for Covid care centres in Mumbai.
The ED had issued a summons to Iqbal Singh Chahal in connection with the Covid centres or field hospital contracts awarded to Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) MP Sanjay Raut’s close aide Sujit Patkar and his partners.
