Pat Cummins mother passes away: Australia star cricketer and Test team captain Pat Cummins has lost his mother this morning after prolonged illness. Cricket Australia has confirmed the news by posting tweet on the official twitter handle of Cricket Australia.
In a tweet they wrote, “We are deeply saddened at the passing of Maria Cummins overnight. On behalf of Australian Cricket, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Pat, the Cummins family and their friends. The Australian Men’s team will today wear black armbands as a mark of respect.”

Pat Cummins mother passes away
During The fourth test match day 2 of the Border Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia which is been played at the Narender Modi Stadium Ahmedabad, players are seen wearing a black arm band in order to pay homage to their captain Pat Cummins.
Cummins had already flown back home after the completion of second test to be with his ailing mother who was bit critical from last couple of weeks.
After Cummins has flown back to home, the legendary batter Steven Smith led Australia in the third Test and guided his Team to the nine wickets big victory. Smith is also leading the team in the fourth ongoing test match in Ahmedabad.
