Pulwama, May 27: Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Pulwama, Waheed Ur Rehman Para, on Monday visited the Koil Lift Irrigation Scheme to review its functioning. He was accompanied by officials from the Irrigation Department and local residents.

The visit marked a significant moment for the area, as locals expressed satisfaction over the restoration of adequate irrigation water supply after a gap of six years. Farmers and residents hailed the efforts of the administration and the MLA, stating that the revived irrigation facility would greatly benefit agricultural activities in the region.

Speaking on the occasion, Waheed Ur Rehman Para emphasized the government’s commitment to improving rural infrastructure and supporting the agrarian economy. He assured that all necessary steps would be taken to ensure sustained and efficient water supply for irrigation purposes.
