MLA Rohit Dubey came out strongly in defense of the BJP, addressing recent criticisms about the party’s alleged interference in institutional independence, particularly the judiciary. Speaking at a public gathering, Dubey dismissed the allegations made by opposition leaders, asserting that the BJP’s principles prioritize the nation above all.
Referring to earlier controversies where Supreme Court judges had claimed they were unable to work due to government interference, Dubey said, “The same judges who once said they couldn’t work properly are now functioning smoothly. Congress may feel otherwise, but that is not the reality,” he remarked.
Dubey emphasized the BJP’s ideological commitment to putting the nation first in every decision. “We have all learned that our foremost duty is to take our nation to the greatest heights. This is what we, as citizens and leaders, should always strive for,” he said.
Highlighting the BJP’s core values, Dubey credited the party’s “sanskar” (cultural values) for keeping the country’s progress and welfare as its top priority. “The BJP’s ethos is clear: ‘Desh sabse aagey hai’ (The nation comes first). Every policy, decision, and action we take reflects this belief,” he stated.
Dubey’s remarks come amid increasing attacks from opposition parties, particularly the Congress, which has accused the BJP of undermining democratic institutions and centralizing power. However, Dubey dismissed these accusations as baseless and motivated by political vendetta.
“The Congress always tries to create a narrative that suits their agenda, but the ground reality speaks for itself. Institutions are functioning effectively, and the country is progressing on all fronts,” he added.
Calling for unity among all political stakeholders, Dubey reiterated the importance of keeping national interests above partisan politics. “At the end of the day, we are all Indians, and our goal should be to work together to take our country to greater heights. That is what we in the BJP believe and practice,” he said.
Dubey’s statements underline the BJP’s strategy to position itself as the custodian of national interests, countering opposition criticism with a focus on development and institutional stability. His remarks are expected to resonate with BJP supporters while adding momentum to the party’s narrative of “nation first.”
With the BJP gearing up for upcoming electoral battles, leaders like Dubey are likely to continue emphasizing the party’s dedication to national progress, drawing a sharp contrast with the opposition’s criticisms. The Congress is yet to respond to Dubey’s statements.
