To review the progress and implementation of various schemes with regard to Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Mission Director ICDS J&K, Rubina Kousar today convened a meeting of concerned officers of district Anantnag and Pulwama at Dak Bunglow Khannabal, here.
During the meeting, the Mission Director ICDS reviewed the functioning of ICDS, National Rural Livelihood Mission besides various other schemes in both the districts.
On the occasion, threadbare discussion on the subject was held wherein the progress and implementation of various centrally and UT sponsored schemes were briefed to the chair.
The District Programme Officer Anantnag & Pulwama briefed the chair regarding status of procurement of Nutrition, number of children enrolled in the Anganwadi Centers, PMMVY, POSHAN Abhiyan, Mahila Shakti Kendra (MSK), Ladli Beti, Scheme for Adolescent Girls and other allied schemes in district Anantnag and Pulwama.
The Mission Director laid emphasis on addressing the concerns of the general public regarding implementation of the Ladli Beti Scheme and other allied schemes in the districts of Anantnag and Pulwama
She stressed for mass awareness among the people so that the benefits of schemes reach to the deserving in the districts.
During the meeting, special emphasis was laid on cent percent Adhar seeding and Adhar generation in both the districts.
The Mission Director also took brief on the status of disposal of grievances registered on Integrated Grievance Redressal Portal. She reiterated that no laxity shall be tolerated in this regard.
She insisted on adopting total sanitation, balanced diet and healthy lifestyle as a measure to control the disease to a large extent.
She also stressed upon the officials to learn modern technology with regard to updation of data, geo tagging and other such things.
