Handwara,   01 April : A three-year-old girl lost her life after accidentally falling into a trench in the Sopernaghama Kralgund area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday.

The deceased, identified as Aksa Jaan, daughter of Jahangir Ahmad Mir, was playing in the lawn of her home when she slipped and fell into the trench.

According to local sources, her family rushed to rescue her and immediately took her to a nearby hospital. However, doctors declared her brought dead upon arrival.
