The Meteorological department has forecast light snowfall at isolated higher altitudes in Jammu and Kashmir on January 16.
Today, the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy, according to a MeT official from Srinagar.
The official added that January 13 will likely see mainly clear and dry weather in the region. On January 14, conditions are expected to be generally cloudy with dry weather.
For January 15 and 16, the weather is predicted to be cloudy, with light snow in isolated higher areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
From January 17 to 19, cloudy weather is expected to continue.
The official also noted that no significant weather changes are anticipated in Jammu and Kashmir until January 19.
For January 20-21, the weather is expected to remain cloudy with light snowfall in isolated locations.
Tourists, travelers, and transporters have been advised to follow guidelines from the administration and the traffic department.
