Mehbooba Mufti Mourns the Demise of Khwaja Muhammad Maqbool Mir of Tangmarg

The Jammu & Kashmir People’s Democratic Party (JKPDP) President and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has expressed profound sorrow on the sad demise of Khwaja Muhammad Maqbool Mir, an esteemed socio-political activist, successful businessman, and esteemed philanthropist from Tangmarg.

“Maqbool Mir Sahab was an exceptional individual who dedicated his life to the upliftment of society. His unwavering commitment to socio-political causes and his selfless contributions to numerous philanthropic endeavours have made an enduring impact on the community. As a successful entrepreneur, he not only achieved great heights but also served as an inspiration for others,” she said.

 

“The JKPDP family is deeply grieved by the loss of this remarkable individual who embodied the values of compassion, integrity, and social equality. His departure is an irreplaceable loss for his family and all of us,” she added.

 

“Our thoughts and prayers are with his grieving family, particularly his son Shabir Ahmad Mir, a revered senior party colleague and the dedicated incharge of the Tangmarg constituency. We offer our sincerest condolences and stand firmly by their side during this challenging time,” Mehbooba said.

 

“Khwaja Muhammad Maqbool Mir’s legacy will forever be cherished, as he touched countless lives and inspired positive change.
