A massive landslide incident has damaged a house and some shops in Jammu-Kashmir’s Doda district on Wednesday afternoon.
Four to three shops and a house developed cracks when a massive landslide struck in Bagla area of Doda. The landslide was such that it slipped the mud from the hill down to the Bagla-Bharat road, shattering the mirrors of shops situated there and spoiling the merchandise kept in it and then to the Ghat road village.
There was no loss of life in the incident has been reported.
A local shopkeeper whose shop damaged in landslide told media, “I went to market after opening my shop but when I reverted, I found my goods spoiled. A major damage has been averted”.
