Manish Sisodia resends proposal for Delhi teachers’ training in Finland to L-G

Delhi deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has resend the proposal for Finland-based training for school teachers of the state government to the Lieutenant Governor. Previously, the L-G stalled the Finland-based teachers’ training twice by objecting to the file, despite the elected government’s approval, Sisodia said.

In the proposal moved this time, the deputy chief minister noted, “The government has examined proposals from all aspects, including the cost-benefit analysis and finds it essential to improve the quality of education and enhance the capacity of teachers. If the chief minister and the education minister have decided to send their teachers abroad, then how can the L-G scuttle it by repeatedly raising flimsy objections?”
