Man, daughter killed in road mishap in Jammu

Jammu: A father and daughter duo were killed in a road accident in Kathua district of Jammu on Monday.
According to the report, the accident took place on Lakhanpur-Punjab border in Kathua when a speeding truck (HR38AE5019) crushed to death a father and daughter bike (PB06AM1596) borne duo.
Both the victims sustained severe injuries in the accident and gave up their lives on the spot of accident.
After the mishap, an ambulance was called to take the bodies of victims to Associated Hospital and GMC Kathua for post-mortem examination. The bodies of the accident victims will be handed over to their families after medico-legal formalities.
The deceaseds are yet to be identified.
The Lakhanpur police have registered a case and further investigations are on.
