Police on Saturday arrested a drug peddler with 25 grams of heroin. The accused, Mohammed Bika alias Bika Gujjar r/o Sikanderpur Kothey, Bishnah, was arrested from a naka in Jammu.
According to the report, the Bishan police conducted a naka at Sikanderpur Kothey near a Brick kiln in Bishnah Tehsil and during vehicle checking when a man was trying to flee the naka, the police intercepted him on suspicion and searched him.
During checking of the drug supplier the police recovered 25 grams from his possession.
A case FIR NO. 02/24 U/S 8/21/22 under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Bishnah Police station and an investigation is on.
