Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is likely to announce a 10-point poll promise for the youth and unemployed people of the country in the run-up to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The Gandhi scion will make the announcement at a rally in Badnawar District of Madhya Pradesh with Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, ANI reported citing sources.
Gandhi, who is on the 6,700-km ‘Manipur to Mumbai’ Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, has claimed unemployment and inflation are the major challenges in the country.
Addressing gatherings as part of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, which resumed from Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh after a one-day break, Gandhi accused the media of diverting the people’s attention by harping on China, Pakistan, cricket, and Bollywood.
In MP, the Congress leader’s Nyay Yatra will pass through Shivpuri, Guna, Rajgarh, Shajapur, Ujjain, Dhar and Ratlam districts of the state.
The Wayanad MP said the unemployment rate now was the highest of the last 40 years.
