Locals foiled smuggling bid in Jammu

Jammu: Several locals last night yesterday foiled a bovine smuggling bid in Samba district of Jammu.
As per report, the incident happened when a man from Samba’s Ghagwal area last night yesterday saw a Punjab based truck ‘PB02E02353’ loaded with cattle heading towards bovine Samba. After the incident, the local man chased the truck and intercepted it with aid of several other locals at Diani village in Samba.
During checking of the said vehicle the locals and police who were called by the people recovered 8-10 bovines from the truck and nabbed two men.
