The J-K Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha yesterday while expressing his condolences, announced an ex-gratia to the shattered families who lost their loved ones in a tragic accident earlier today in the Ukhral area of Ramban district.
“I am deeply saddened to learn about the loss of precious lives in an unfortunate road accident in Ramban today. I convey my heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved families and praying for the speedy recovery of those injured,” the Lt Governor said.
An ex-gratia of Rs.5-Lakh would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given Rs.50,000, informed an official communique from the LG’s office.
