Lalchowk Constituency Holds Grand Convention Marking 11 Years of Narendra Modi Government Massive Participation as Senior BJP Leaders Highlight Transformative Achievements Under PM Modi’s Leadership

A grand convention was held today at Tagore Hall, Srinagar, by the BJP Lalchowk Constituency to mark the completion of 11 transformative years of the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from hundreds of dedicated party workers and supporters.
The program was organized by Er. Aijaz Hussain, Senior BJP Leader and DDC Member, who welcomed the dignitaries and highlighted the importance of the event. He spoke about the Modi Government’s historic journey of development, empowerment, and inclusive governance, transforming India’s socio-political and economic landscape.
Shri Ashok Koul Ji, State General Secretary (Organisation), was the Chief Guest on the occasion. In his address, he detailed the remarkable achievements of the Modi Government, with a special focus on Jammu & Kashmir — including reservation for women and OBCs, the world’s highest railway bridge, and major infrastructure initiatives fostering regional progress and integration.
Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of the Waqf Board and Guest of Honour, emphasized the pro-poor and inclusive policies of the Modi Government, highlighting how welfare schemes have directly impacted the lives of marginalized communities across the country.
Former MLC Vikram Randhawa Ji also addressed the gathering, focusing on various initiatives that have improved the quality of life for the common citizen and empowered the grassroots.
Umer Shafi, Constituency President, extended heartfelt thanks to all the participants, leaders, and workers for their presence and commitment.
Senior leaders and office bearers present on the occasion included Ashok Bhat, Arshid Ahmad Bhat, Kashmir Media Incharge Adv. The program also included a solemn Shradhanjali (tribute) to mourn the tragic loss of over 200 lives in the recent aircraft crash.
