The Leh Apex Body (LAB) announced massive rally in Leh today, Border March on April 7 and regular hunger strike by the people in support of their demands of Statehood and Sixth Schedule.
LAB senior leader Chering Dorjay Lakruk told the sources, that the Apex Body will hold a massive rally in Leh today to receive Wangchuk who ended his 21 days fast today.
“We proposed to hold Border March to Eastern Ladakh on April 7,” he said.
Lakruk said regular hunger strike by the people in support of Statehood and Sixth Schedule among others will continue.
Earlier in the day, Wangchuk made a fresh appeal to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to fulfil promises made to the people of the Union Territory and also called upon people to use their franchise in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections “very carefully” this time in the interest of the nation.
