Kupwara, March 24, 2025: Continuing its commitment to maintaining law and order and dismantling unlawful networks, Kupwara Police today conducted multiple raids at different locations in connection with an ongoing investigation under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

The searches were carried out at Sulkoot, Bohipora, Malik Mohallah, and Dudwan Kupwara, following credible inputs about individuals allegedly involved in activities detrimental to public security and sovereignty in connection to an FIR registered under the relevant sections of the UAPA.

All raids were conducted in strict accordance with legal procedures to ensure transparency and due process. The operations were carried out in the presence of Magistrates and local representatives, ensuring that all searches adhered to the prescribed norms of law enforcement.

Kupwara Police reiterates its firm commitment to identifying and taking strict legal action against individuals and groups involved in unlawful and anti-national activities. This operation is part of a broader initiative to disrupt and neutralize elements that pose a threat to peace, security, and stability in the region.
