Lockie Ferguson and Umran Malik had a day to forget in the Eden Gardens on Friday as both men leaked big runs during their overs in the IPL 2023 clash between KKR and SRH.
Ferguson and Umran are known for their fiery spells, with both men comfortably bowling more than 150 kmph and were actually competing with each other for the fastest delivery last season.
However, Friday was a rough day for both the pacers on the day as they were on the receiving end of a thrashing from Harry Brook and Nitish Rana.
Ferguson’s first over had gone for 14 runs and it was bowled in the powerplay. By the time he had returned to bowl for his second over of the night, Brook was striking at a fine pace.
