Congress President Kharge to Announce Next Karnataka Chief Minister in Bengaluru Tomorrow, Following Discussions with Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar.

The decision regarding the Karnataka Chief Minister post is still pending and no final announcement has been made yet. All the stakeholders have been consulted by the Congress president. The final decision will be made in consultation with Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi, and it is possible that the announcement may be delayed until tomorrow. It is also likely that the announcement will be made in Bengaluru itself.

The uncertainty surrounding the chief minister position persists as Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar, the leading contenders for the post, have both shown determination to secure the top position.

Shivakumar has made it clear that he will not engage in treachery or coercion, irrespective of the party’s final decision. He stated that if the party deems fit, they can entrust him with the responsibility. He emphasized the unity within their ranks, highlighting the strength of their 135 members. Shivakumar expressed his commitment to avoiding division and asserted his responsible nature, affirming his refusal to engage in backstabbing or blackmail.

“The party is my god…We have built this party, I am a part of it and I am not alone in this,” he said before his departure from Bengaluru.
